Amanda Dykstra M.S., CCC-SLP is a highly accomplished speech-language pathologist with a rich educational background. In 2015, she earned her Bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton, and in 2017, she completed her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Sacred Heart University. Throughout her career, Amanda has honed her expertise in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and assistive technology, engaging in in-depth research, delivering numerous presentations, and contributing to the development of the language system for Bright Symbol. Her mission is to revolutionize the world of AAC, making it more accessible and effective for those who need it. In addition to her extensive experience with assistive technology, Amanda specializes in early intervention and in-home therapy for toddlers with language or speech delays, focusing on improving articulation. Moreover, she has worked extensively with geriatric patients who have suffered from strokes or traumatic brain injuries, demonstrating her versatility as a clinician in speech therapy.
